Marjanne Baker is a Liberian national and veteran educator. She is passionate about empowering children so they lead productive lives, and have been in the field of education professionally for twenty years. She is an Advanced ICT Pedagogical Change Agent for the ECOWAS Region licensed by Life Academy and Stockholm University in Sweden. Presently she is fostering a project called METS Afrika4D under the umbrella of her re-established organization SOAR – Sisters of Africa Restore that began operating in Liberia to cater to the youth population since 2005.

A Master Educator, she presently is a Doctoral Candidate at Northcentral University, Prescott Valley, Arizona, obtaining a Degree in Curriculum Development and Instruction. She holds a Master’s degree from Strayer University in Adult Education and Curriculum Development, and is an accomplished educator in Adult Education, Literacy Coaching, K-12 Instructor, and Master trainer. With a specialty in Literacy and Community Growth and Development, Ms. Herring’s passion is using digital animation to create fashions.
